Marlen Kruzhkov is a partner practicing at Gusrae Kaplan Nusbaum PLLC in the areas of corporate and transactional law. Mr. Kruzhkov graduated from Northwestern University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1998) and Boston University (B.A., magna cum laude, Economics, 1995).

Mr. Kruzhkov has extensive experience representing clients in connection with general corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, corporate finance, financing transactions, joint ventures, international transactions and employee relations. Mr. Kruzhkov also has significant experience representing clients with corporate/business litigation, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, securities fraud, fraud and employer-employee disputes. Mr. Kruzhkov represents clients from and in connection with matters throughout the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Great Britain, Italy, Morocco, India, Israel and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).

Mr. Kruzhkov is a member of the New York Bar and the New Jersey Bar. He is a former Co-Chairman of the Russian Leadership Division of the United Jewish Appeal (UJA) and Chairman and Founder of the Russian Speaking Business Attorneys Network (RUSBAN).

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kruzhkov practiced with Latham & Watkins and Schulte, Roth & Zabel. Mr. Kruzhkov was also a shareholder at Butzel Long.

Mr. Kruzhkov is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey and before the Federal District Courts for Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Kruzhkov is fluent in Russian.
