Andrew Russell joined Gusrae, Kaplan, Bruno & Nusbaum PLLC in May 2005 as an associate in the firm's corporate finance group. Mr. Russell represents and advises public and private companies in corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private placements of equity and debt securities, joint ventures, and the formation of hedge funds. Mr. Russell's practice also includes representing public companies and advising them on compliance with their ongoing reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 as well as compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Russell was an associate in the corporate department of Golenbock, Eiseman, Assor, Bell & Peskoe, LLC. Mr. Russell graduated from Colgate University in 1983 with a BA. He received an MBA from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 1988 and he received his Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis in 1993. Mr. Russell was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1994.
